We are seeking a Sr. WMS Specialist responsible for designing, configuring and testing Manhattan Associates SCALE WMS for new client implementations, system enhancements and version upgrades. The individual will also play a key role in the design, development and maintenance of WMS Database (SQL Server) objects.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of working experience in general database development using MS-SQL Server. The focus will be on writing optimal T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, reading query plans, tuning indexes and troubleshooting issues.
  • 5 + years’ experience configuring Manhattan Associates SCALE WMS or WMOS.
  • Experience supporting all functional areas within the WMS.
  • Excellent SQL skills to resolve complex WMS support issues.
  • Ability to mentor and guide developers on best practices.
  • Ability to work with all stake owners and teams within IT teams and across lines of Business ensuring integrations strategies and roadmap and well aligned with business goals and KPIs.

Nice To Haves

  • ECOM experience (Single unit picking, Warehouse Location set up, Parcel Rating, MHE- sorter, labelling, PTL, PL/tote/small Carton movers etc.).
  • Experience in exposing WMS functionality through event-based design and APIs.
  • Experience with SCALE Warehouse Mobile.
  • Programming experience in .Net and Python.
  • Knowledge of SSRS report development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional configuration of Manhattan Associates SCALE Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Create, maintain, optimize SQL Server objects and ETL processes.
  • Work with WMS vendor and internal development/configuration team to design and test system enhancements and customization.
  • Work with all levels of development from analysis through implementation and support.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members/end users to understand/gather requirements and ensure proper testing and validation.
  • Participate in shared on-call rotation, providing after hours and weekend support.
  • Help mentor and direct others on the WMS configuration and development team.
