This WMS Specialist position involves procurement and fulfillment for non-standard sales orders, managing inbound and outbound shipments, preparing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for production, ensuring warehouse capacity, maintaining communication with various stakeholders, and assisting with inventory control.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in systems operations management or similar preferred
Prior experience completing duties mentioned above
Ability to operate and use PC computer with fluency and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ability to maneuver a forklift safely and efficiently in a face paced working warehouse

Responsibilities

Procurement and Fulfillment for requests outside of standard sales orders
Verify and confirm scheduled inbound/outbound shipments
Prepare WMS to accept all inbound brewery production
Ensure Warehouse and WMS have available room to accept incoming product
Maintain communication between beer coordinators, carriers, and the warehouse
Prepare and maintain warehouse slot sheet
Verify and ensure the quality and quantities of inbound and outbound product
Plan, prepare and stage outgoing shipments using WMS and dispatch tasks to floor operators
Investigate errors and advise Warehouse and WMS Supervisor as needed
Complete prepared reports regularly and as assigned
Assist in inventory control with weekly and monthly counts
Prepare BOLs and other shipping documents as needed
Operate forklift to complete the execution of tasks created by WMS as well as tasks requiring forklift use to complete
Other duties as assigned
