Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The Senior Manager, Technology, Insights & Analytics is responsible for owning the digital, data, and analytics strategy that enables effective decision‑making across global real estate, facilities management, and capital project delivery. This role ensures that leadership has accurate, timely, and decision‑ready insights to guide strategic investments, portfolio optimization, and execution performance. Operating as the enterprise data and insights owner, this role drives end‑to‑end data strategy—from systems and architecture to analytics, dashboards, and external insights—supporting RE/FM/Government Services governance, site construction, renovations, expansions, and strategic capital projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or related technical roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading analytics or insights teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong expertise in analytics platforms, data visualization tools, and data management concepts.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics and technology solutions.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven insights and storytelling.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • English required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience supporting commercial, medical device, or healthcare businesses.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience working with large, global data environments and cross-regional teams.
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements in a regulated industry.
  • Prior experience driving digital or analytics transformation initiatives.
  • Analytics, data science, or technology certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end‑to‑end analytics and insights strategy for WW Business Operations & Project Delivery.
  • Establish a single source of truth across RE, FM, GS, and capital project data.
  • Ensure analytics directly support executive, portfolio, and investment decisions.
  • Own the digital tools and systems roadmap supporting portfolio analytics, project performance, and governance.
  • Partner with IT to enable system integration, automation, and data quality.
  • Drive simplification and standardization of tools and reporting across regions.
  • Deliver actionable insights on portfolio performance, capital efficiency, project risk, cost, and schedule.
  • Develop executive dashboards and forward‑looking analytics to support prioritization and trade‑offs.
  • Incorporate external benchmarks and market intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analytics and insights professionals.
  • Establish best practices for analytics methodologies, insight generation, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Support performance tracking across capital projects and programs.
  • Support governance forums with clear, fact‑based insights.
  • Identify trends, risks, and systemic issues before they escalate.

  • Partner closely with: Strategic Project Management, Engineering Standards, Business Operations / Finance, Communications & Crisis Management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on data‑driven decision‑making.
