Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition

Thomson ReutersEagan, MN
$100,100 - $185,900Hybrid

About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition will help build and lead Omni's Talent Acquisition (TA) function, supporting the design of recruiting processes, technology, and vendor strategy under the direction of the VP, HR. This role contributes to the operational backbone of TA — including applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing strategies, employer branding, and recruiting workflows — while simultaneously delivering on active hiring needs across a globally distributed, multi-country workforce. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys a mix of process design and tactical execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including exposure to building or scaling TA processes, ideally in a standalone, carve-out, or high-growth/start-up environment
  • Experience supporting selection or implementation of ATS and other recruiting technology, including familiarity with AI-driven recruiting tools (sourcing, screening, candidate matching).
  • Experience recruiting across multiple countries/regions (U.S. required; Brazil, India, and/or EMEA a plus).
  • Vendor management experience, including RPO, staffing agencies, or recruiting technology providers.
  • Ability to balance process-improvement work with day-to-day tactical hiring execution.
  • Experience recruiting across diverse functions (corporate, sales, manufacturing/operations) is a plus.
  • Solid analytical skills, with experience using recruiting metrics/dashboards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable working with autonomy and ambiguity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a print, manufacturing, publishing, or similar industrial/commercial B2B environment, preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with global compliance considerations related to hiring (e.g., data privacy, local labor law nuances in Brazil, India, EMEA), preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Help design and implement recruiting workflows, policies, interview processes, and candidate experience standards for a global, multi-country organization.
  • Support evaluation and implementation of core TA technology (ATS, sourcing tools, CRM, background check/assessment platforms), including AI-enabled sourcing and screening tools, in partnership with HR leadership.
  • Contribute recommendations to a "buy vs. build" framework for which recruiting services and tools should be handled in-house versus outsourced to RPO/staffing partners.
  • Help implement recruiting policies and localized practices that support compliance with regional labor laws and cultural norms.
  • Partner with the VP, HR and business leaders to understand hiring needs and help execute a scalable talent acquisition approach.
  • Own and deliver against hiring targets across corporate, manufacturing, sales, and international functions.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and specialized roles (e.g., manufacturing, sales, technical/print industry expertise).
  • Support development of a scalable interview and selection process, including interview guides, scorecards, and hiring manager enablement.
  • Help identify and manage relationships with external recruiting vendors, staffing agencies, and RPO providers to supplement internal capacity.
  • Support contract negotiations and budget tracking related to TA tools, job boards, and third-party recruiting services.
  • Contribute to Omni's employer value proposition (EVP) and employer brand presence (careers site, social media, job boards).
  • Help maintain a consistent, high-quality candidate experience across regions and hiring levels.
  • Track and report on TA metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source of hire, diversity metrics, etc.), leveraging available analytics tools.
  • Provide regular updates to HR leadership on hiring progress, pipeline health, and market trends.
  • Support and mentor recruiters/coordinators as hiring volume grows.
  • Partner closely with the existing Talent Acquisition Lead and HRBP team to align recruiting activity with broader HR and workforce planning.
