About The Position

At Johnson & Johnson MedTech, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, Sales & Deal Enablement to lead product strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and value realization for priority Sales capabilities within the global Customer Experience Management (CxM) ecosystem. The role will initially focus on pricing and deal-support capabilities, with the flexibility to lead other Sales priorities as business needs evolve. Areas of responsibility include pricing guidance, deal preparation, commercial approvals, product and customer information, document generation, workflow simplification, sales productivity, and connected experiences across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and enterprise platforms. This leader will act as a flexible product and platform leader across the Sales portfolio, taking accountability for high-priority opportunities or capability gaps. The role requires moving effectively between strategy, delivery, adoption, operations, and cross-functional problem-solving, rather than being limited to a single application or narrowly defined process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of progressively responsible experience in product management, platform management, commercial technology, enterprise applications, sales enablement, or technology delivery.
  • Demonstrated product leadership for enterprise Sales, CRM, pricing, deal management, CPQ, quoting, contracting, workflow, or comparable commercial capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of Sales workflows, seller experience, pricing and approval processes, customer and opportunity management, and connected commercial processes.
  • Experience defining product strategy, outcome-based roadmaps, investment priorities, backlogs, release plans, adoption approaches, and value measures.
  • Experience stepping into complex or ambiguous portfolios, establishing clarity, and driving work from discovery through delivery and operational ownership.
  • Experience delivering global products across multiple functions, regions, teams, and technology platforms in a regulated or highly controlled environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, integration and API patterns, data platforms, Microsoft 365, and enterprise application ecosystems sufficient to lead product decisions and partner credibly with engineering.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, resource plans, forecasts, suppliers, systems integrators, and delivery commitments.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, including goal setting, coaching, performance management, talent development, and leadership of employees and contractors.
  • Experience with agile product delivery, backlog management, release planning, risk management, change management, service operations, and incident leadership.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills across global business, control, data, and technology organizations.
  • Working fluency in AI-enabled product capabilities sufficient to partner effectively with the teams that own AI strategy and delivery; deep AI product ownership is not required for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience with enterprise pricing, CPQ, quoting, approvals, automated document generation, or contracting platforms in complex product, market, channel, or contract environments.
  • Experience applying global product governance while enabling controlled regional or business-unit variation.
  • Experience integrating CRM and Sales platforms with customer, product, pricing, contracting, ERP, order management, analytics, content, and identity services.
  • Experience leading organizational change, product adoption, process simplification, data-quality improvement, and retirement of legacy tools.
  • Experience managing a diverse portfolio or serving as a flexible product leader across multiple commercial capability areas.
  • Experience establishing product operating models, service metrics, controls, and production-support practices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for assigned Sales and deal-enablement capabilities in alignment with the broader MedTech CxM strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to simplify and scale Sales workflows that improve seller productivity, accelerate deal progression, and strengthen execution quality.
  • Identify high-value capability gaps across the Sales portfolio and take focused accountability for shaping the response, securing alignment, and driving delivery.
  • Convert business strategy, seller needs, and operational pain points into clear product capabilities, release objectives, and actionable backlogs.
  • Maintain a pragmatic roadmap that balances immediate business priorities, platform reuse, operational stability, technical health, and longer-term capability development.
  • Own or support the roadmap for pricing and connected deal capabilities, including pricing guidance, commercial rules, approvals, deal preparation, document generation, and workflow orchestration.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, contracting teams, and regional and global business stakeholders to simplify processes and clarify decision rights.
  • Ensure pricing and deal capabilities connect effectively with Microsoft Dynamics 365, customer and product data, contracting, ERP, analytics, and other enterprise services.
  • Provide flexibility to expand into quoting, product configuration, contracting, or other adjacent deal capabilities when business priorities and funding support the need.
  • Provide product leadership across other priority Sales capabilities when gaps, delivery risks, or emerging business needs require additional ownership.
  • Rapidly assess ambiguous problems, establish a clear product approach, align stakeholders, and create an executable path forward.
  • Step into initiatives at different stages of maturity, from early discovery and business-case development through delivery, stabilization, adoption, and lifecycle management.
  • Connect work across Sales products and platforms to reduce fragmentation and create a more coherent seller experience.
  • Transition capabilities into sustainable ownership and operating models when longer-term accountability is established elsewhere in the organization.
  • Drive adoption through user-centered design, playbooks, training, communications, change management, product analytics, and performance dashboards.
  • Define and track outcomes such as adoption, seller productivity, pricing accuracy, approval cycle time, deal velocity, workflow completion, reliability, reuse, and reduction of manual work.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms with sellers, sales leaders, commercial teams, and regional stakeholders, and use insights to improve priorities and experiences.
  • Create transparent value cases for major investments and track whether delivered capabilities produce expected user, operational, and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery across discovery, planning, backlog management, release readiness, adoption, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture to translate product priorities into executable plans while balancing value, feasibility, risk, cost, quality, timing, and platform integrity.
  • Manage dependencies spanning Sales, pricing, contracting, data, integrations, security, privacy, infrastructure, and adjacent CxM capabilities.
  • Establish clear decision rights, governance, cadences, escalation paths, acceptance criteria, service expectations, and operational responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership during material delivery or production issues and ensure corrective actions address root causes rather than symptoms.
  • Own the budget, resource plan, forecasts, investment proposals, and financial trade-offs for assigned capabilities.
  • Lead and develop employees, contractors, and delivery partners through clear objectives, coaching, feedback, performance management, and career development.
  • Manage strategic vendors and systems integrators against defined outcomes, quality expectations, technical standards, delivery commitments, and commercial terms.
  • Build strong product-management, Sales-domain, adoption, change, delivery, and business-partnership capabilities within the team.
  • Create an inclusive, accountable culture focused on outcomes, transparency, constructive challenge, learning, and shared ownership.
