About The Position

EvenUp is hiring a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to own the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, order-to-cash operations, and technical revenue accounting under ASC 606. The role leads and develops a revenue function, directly managing a Senior Accountant, Revenue and an Accounts Receivable Specialist. It calls for a strategic, hands-on finance leader who can automate order-to-cash workflows and uphold high standards for accuracy, controls, and cross-functional collaboration. The position oversees revenue accounting operations, billing systems, contract reviews, customer invoicing, collections, cash application, revenue recognition, and cash collection. It serves as the subject matter expert for complex revenue arrangements and SaaS revenue recognition under US GAAP, and develops accounting policies and memos for new products and pricing models. The role also drives process improvements and automation in NetSuite and related systems, partners with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Customer Success, and Product, and maintains internal controls and audit readiness. Success measures include reducing the revenue close to fewer than four business days, maintaining compliant reconciliations without unreconciled variances, improving collections and AR performance, automating more than 80% of specified billing and revenue tasks, and automating analysis of material revenue fluctuations. Initial priorities include assessing workflows and supporting NetSuite ARM and billing implementation; longer-term priorities include optimizing revenue schedules, establishing technical revenue policies, and leading revenue-related portions of the annual audit.
