About The Position

The Manager, Regional Strategic Accounts is responsible for working with the Strategic Account customers in alignment with Regional and Global strategies to deliver on customer needs and expectations, drive account revenue and profitability. This role is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with large, complex customer organizations, with multiple market segments ensuring their needs are met and advocating for their success. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent decision-making skills, cross-functional collaboration abilities, and a strong commitment to customer advocacy.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer and/or commercial exposure in B2B and or B2C environments
  • Ability to think long-term and develop strategies that align with both the customer's and the company's goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the customer organization.
  • Proficiency in navigating complex distribution networks and decision-making hierarchies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong analytical abilities to monitor account performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution, with the ability to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Strategic Account Management including proven customer relationship management (CRM)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within highly matrixed multi-functional customer organizations, with multiple market segments, understanding their needs and goals, and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Develops and implements near term strategic that align with both the customer's and our company's long-term goals.
  • Oversee and manage the efficient and effective delivery of products and services across a complex logistical footprint.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to drive revenue growth in line with company standards and processes
  • Balances multiple sources of information to identify, evaluate and solve multi-dimensional problems ensuring solution accounts for appropriate tradeoffs to achieve regional and enterprise financial goals
  • Navigate and influence the decision-making processes within large, customer organizations, ensuring alignment at all levels of the decision-making chain.
  • Develop the negotiation framework for large contracts and agreements by ensuring favorable terms and conditions, driving volume and profit growth. Reviewing and providing perspective on specifically tailored contract language and terms.
  • Work closely with and influence internal teams including supply chain, finance, and manufacturing to advocate for customer needs, ensure a cohesive approach to account management and drive customer outcomes. Apply enterprise mindset to implications of customer needs on the regional network and align stakeholders.
  • Analyze account performance, including but not limited to forecast accuracy, sales vs. plan and profitability metrics. Ability to identify and present to internal and external stake holders areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance and realization of value with large, complex contracts. Thoroughly understands and translates contract language into actionable terms and practical implementation protecting account profitability.
