About The Position

The Sr Regional Sales Manager (RSM) oversees and directs the Field Sales activities of Territory Managers and Agents within the assigned Latin America district. This position is responsible for achieving HES sales quotas for the region as well as all assigned territories. The RSM is responsible for the training and performance appraisal of the salespeople within the region. The RSM implements sales/marketing programs that can be utilized throughout the entire region. In this position, implementing long- and short-term goals, personnel deployment, succession planning, training, and improving "Go to Market" strategies are critical components supporting the overall success of Hubbell Electrical Solutions. South District coverage includes: Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia. Remote location. For internal candidates, Florida is desirable due to travel connectivity to the district.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • at least 5 to 7 years sales experience required
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Experience with selling in distribution/contractor channels.
  • Proficient with digital resources such as Power BI and Salesforce.com (CRM/SFDC) to run the business through dashboards, KPIs, and forecast discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Consults with the LATAM Sales Director on sales priorities, performance, and the development of Territory Managers within the district jurisdiction.
  • Collaborates with the LATAM Sales Director in preparation of annual sales plans, marketing strategies, promotional programs, forecasts and budgets for the district.
  • Establishes relationships with key distributor management personnel and major end users within the district.
  • Analyzes territory coverage and Territory Manager responsibilities annually and makes adjustment recommendations to enhance the long-term strategy of the company.
  • Conducts annual distributor training schools.
  • Conducts district planning and training meetings.
  • Prepares and develops Territory Managers for future career opportunities.
  • Analyzes distribution coverage annually and makes recommendations on adding, removing, or aligning with specific distribution.
  • Oversees and manages the CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy.
  • Uses Power BI and Salesforce dashboards to monitor KPIs, pipeline health, and district performance.
  • Prepares monthly district sales performance reports and submits the district forecast package.
  • Manages key sales and people processes for the district, including review and approval of direct report expense reports.
  • Manages field assets and equipment.
