This role will oversee and direct assigned design, project management and construction management consultants hired to implement hospital renovations and new construction. The Sr Manager will lead the design and management of assigned in-house renovation and new construction projects including development of early budgets and project schedules. They will also monitor and/or direct the team in obtaining the necessary governmental approvals, conduct competitive bidding, and secure the acquisition of all furniture fixtures and equipment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of continuous related project management experience with single project values exceeding $10M
  • Minimum of 5 - 10 years of Project Management or Construction experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Businesss, or Construction Management
  • Demonstrated experience in all phases of project deliver including finances, construction, insurances, contracts and other commercial terms.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the following governmental building requirements: Interim construction life safety measures, NJDOH, ADA, ICRA, DCA, Facilities Guidelines, TJC Enviornment of Care Standards, and OSHA.
  • Strong interpersonal and computer skills required including Revit and Autocad
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).
