About The Position

This Program Manager will clearly communicate and coordinate team management efforts involving all the activities within the Submarine Programs department and across full range of interaction with Manufacturing, QA, Purchasing, Production and Operations Support. Work is diversified and complex, resulting in problems which are not readily apparent; symptoms may be vague and facts may be incomplete. Impact of decisions will be of significant magnitude, and probably errors could cause major expense, loss of important customer accounts or damage to company prestige and good will.

Oceaneering Marine Services Division (MSD) has over 30 years of experience providing full-service submarine and surface ship repairs supporting maintenance and alterations aboard commercial and U.S. military vessels. We are SUBSAFE and DDS-SOC certified and perform high-consequence maintenance on assets that operate in demanding environments.

Requirements

• Clearly communicate and coordinate team management efforts.
• Manage interactions with Manufacturing, QA, Purchasing, Production and Operations Support.
• Address diversified and complex problems where symptoms may be vague and facts incomplete.
• Make decisions of significant magnitude with potential for major expense, loss of customer accounts, or damage to company prestige.
• Apply sound and independent judgment following company policies and procedures.
• Resolve issues that may jeopardize product quality, delivery schedules, or costs.
• Formulate methods and processes to increase safety, quality, or production, or decrease costs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Production personnel and project support groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound and independent judgment that follows company policies and procedures while managing projects/contracts.
• Resolve issues, through direct interaction with department managers and supervisors that may jeopardize product quality, delivery schedules or costs.
• Formulate, through original and independent thinking, methods and processes which will increase safety, quality or production, or decrease costs
• Provide leadership and guidance to Production personnel and project support groups.
