The Supply Chain Manager is accountable for the end‑to‑end supply chain performance of the business unit, including the development and execution of strategies, policies, and high‑level objectives related to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), production planning, procurement of goods and services, and inventory management and control. This role requires a highly experienced, self‑directed leader who independently defines and executes a vision for a high‑performing supply chain organization, leveraging industry best practices. The Supply Chain Manager builds and leads a cohesive team, develops the skills and capabilities of others, and aligns team activities with corporate priorities to achieve Milwaukee Tool business objectives. Success in this position requires deep expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, strong functional supply chain knowledge, and a balanced blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, cross‑functional collaboration, and effective communication, all grounded in lean principles. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities of the role; additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve. You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: Oversee S&OP and RCCP to create a comprehensive production plan that aligns to the budget. Perform risk and recovery analytics to mitigate supply and capacity risk Instill operations buying and inventory management disciplines Plan for Every Part (PFEP) & ABC analysis Purchasing methods and logic Logistics & warehouse management Engage in New Product introduction to ensure the Supply Chain can support requirements from engineering build to mass production and lead material strategies Analyze trends, root cause, develop action plans, and track various monthly KPI and Secondary Metrics Monitor slow moving inventory and obsolescence and drive improvement Investigate ERP functionality to optimize the supply chain and operations and ensure data integrity Build best practice processes in support of the infrastructure, including lean enhancement of policies, practices and procedures Provide coaching, mentoring, and training and ensure continued employee growth through development Champion supply chain tools and methodologies and is a recognized subject matter expert (SME) and Super User The TOOLS you’ll bring with you: Bachelor’s degree required in a business-related field and 8-10 years Supply Chain experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment) in addition to a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience Experienced in S&OP, production planning and new product development In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, project and risk management and leadership experience within a supply chain Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook) Experience implementing lean enterprise methods (Lean, Six Sigma) as well as APICS certification preferred Why Milwaukee Tool?
