The Senior Manager of Safety, Security & Regulatory Compliance (SMSSRC) and Agent for Service is responsible for and has oversight of the design, implementation, and management of an effective Safety Management System (SMS). This role oversees the Safety Department (FAA/DOD/OSHA and Volunteer Safety Programs), Security Department (DOT/DOD/DHS), IEP Department (FAA/DOD), and the Regulatory Compliance Department. The SMSSRC is responsible for developing and maintaining corporate safety training, leading safety and environmental programs, preparing reports for senior management, acting as Emergency Response Team Leader, and maintaining the ATI Safety Reporting System. In security, the role ensures compliance with security programs, oversees security training, acts as a liaison with law enforcement, administers building security, and ensures compliance with aviation security programs. For IEP, the role ensures the quality of policies and procedures. In regulatory compliance, the SMSSRC notifies relevant agencies of personnel and address changes, acts as a primary liaison for compliance matters, consults with legal counsel, and ensures compliance with all applicable federal regulations. The role also involves the design, implementation, and management of key manuals including the Safety Program Manual, Management Systems Manual, Airline Security Manual, and Emergency Response Manual.
