Sr. Manager Mechanical Engineering
About The Position
Primary responsibility is Mechanical Engineering management of the Sabre 3D Platform. This is a product with a long history of success in the marketplace with a great team of dedicated people. The manager will be responsible for direct supervision of a team of Mechanical Engineers engaged in a wide variety of responsibilities ranging from product development, design changes tied to customer requests (NSRs), field escalations, and engineering product support teaming with various organizations including manufacturing, suppliers, process engineering, GPS, and the field. The manager must be a strong leader capable of motivating and guiding their team, while collaborating closely with various groups inside and outside the Product Group. The Sabre 3D product is rapidly growing in the marketplace which results in the manager doing a significant amount of hiring and onboarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6-8 years of direct supervisory experience
- Significant experience leading and directing teams, without a direct supervisory role, will also be considered
Nice To Haves
- 7 years experience managing a Mechanical Engineering team responsible for semiconductor equipment development and support
- Engineering knowledge and experience with WETS products
