About The Position

Neurocrine Biosciences is a leading biopharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering, developing, and commercializing life-changing treatments for patients with under-addressed neurological, psychiatric, endocrine, and immunological disorders. The company's diverse portfolio includes FDA-approved treatments for various conditions, and a robust pipeline of compounds in clinical development. This role is responsible for driving all operations associated with the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Speaker Bureau and promotional peer medical education programs for a particular brand. The position leads operational enhancements based on customer and market insights, provides analytical guidance and support for promotional speaker program activity, and leads strategic ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or similar field. AND 8+ years relevant commercial/marketing experience within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry OR MBA or other Master's Degree preferred AND 6+ years of related experience.
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations within the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements and guidance related to development and use of promotional materials.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Veeva Vault or related system.
  • Experience with multi-channel marketing campaign management systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Superior organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plays a key role in annual brand planning and tactical planning activities.
  • Drive P2P system enhancements utilizing customer and market insights, e.g., industry benchmarking.
  • Develop the Operations section of the P2P Quarterly Business Review (QBR) including results of quarterly audits and SLA performance.
  • Responsible for product (i.e. INGREZZA, etc.) Advisory Board meetings including Needs Assessments, content, and logistics.
  • Lead all operational processes associated with the Speaker Bureau, collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify gaps, establish priorities, and generate solutions to streamline processes and create efficiencies.
  • Lead bi-weekly joint Marketing and Compliance meetings to align on process changes and resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Manage the Speaker Network Portal and Speaker Select Portal including legal-only review of content changes.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert and single point of contact for all metrics and analytics related to P2P programming.
  • Monitor P2P agency partner Service-Level Agreements (SLAs), manage quarterly manual audits, monitor Tableau dashboards, and present results to applicable stakeholders.
  • Monitor speaker cap report, identify issues, and respond to Compliance requests.
  • Manage Agency Partner Business Operating Rules and Field User Guide; collaborate with Legal and Compliance to update, maintain, and disseminate relevant policies.
  • Serves as the primary contact for Field Operations and SOSL team.
  • Manage all speaker travel deviation requests.
  • Owner and point of contact for the Medical Marketing agency partner Analytics Team.
  • Manage Marketing Programs budget line item; meet expense and timing targets.
  • Manage processes for field communication in collaboration with Sales Force Effectiveness.
  • Develop and present Phase II and III Field Sales training content.
  • Work collaboratively with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to all applicable guidelines and requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
