Vision Government Solutions Inc•Hudson, MA
•$140,000 - $185,000

About The Position

The Sr. Manager of IT leads a small, geographically distributed IT team supporting offices across seven states, multiple business lines, and a range of hosted and on-premise software offerings. The team covers network and security, application configuration and support, incident response, application installation and upgrades, and internal helpdesk services for local offices, datacenters, and Azure hosting facilities. The position is hands-on, combining technical delivery and daily support with leadership of IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The role owns the IT team's mission and roadmap, including setting daily and long-term priorities, developing a sustainable operating model, forecasting workloads, managing the budget and vendor relationships, and building a productive team culture. It also leads IT participation in mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence and integration planning through technical integration. As a representative of IT on the Technology Leadership staff, the role communicates the organization's perspective on technical activities across the business. The successful candidate is technically strong, even-keeled, and comfortable working alongside team members to investigate issues, implement solutions, and improve scalability, security, and efficiency. The position requires objective prioritization across planned and reactive demands and the ability to lead a distributed team across multiple locations.
