About The Position

This is a transformative role as a Senior HR Business Partner joining MiniMed during an exciting time as they have recently separated from Medtronic into a standalone, publicly traded company. With double-digit growth and continued expansion, the business is thriving, and the HR team is expanding to support this momentum and the recent spinoff. This is one of several new HR roles created to help shape the future of the organization. The role offers a chance to play a pivotal role in shaping success during a period of rapid growth, innovation, and transformation. MiniMed develops advanced medical technologies and digital solutions that empower people with diabetes to live life on their terms. Through meaningful innovation and personalized support, they help customers achieve better health and greater freedom, spending less time managing their diabetes. Candidates located within a reasonable driving distance to Northridge are preferred, as travel to the Northridge headquarters is expected an average of twice per month, with additional regional travel as needed to support the field organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of progressive HR experience OR, advanced degree with 5+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience in large, global organizations (Fortune 500 preferred)
  • Track record of delivering HR programs in fast-paced environments
  • Strong skills in talent management, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
  • Data-driven, results-oriented, and agile
  • Excellent communication, consulting, and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in Workday, Microsoft Office, and HR analytics

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in consumer products, medical devices, healthcare, or tech a plus
  • Experience supporting commercial sales teams
  • Skilled at building partnerships across boundaries
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable with ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with leaders across a variety of teams – such as Field Sales (US & Canada), IT, and Marketing to drive HR initiatives that matter.
  • Support transformative programs in organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, culture, performance management, and rewards.
  • Advise and coach managers, resolve daily HR queries, and prepare teams to deliver impact.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace and help navigate organizational change.
  • Use HR analytics to spot trends, drive decisions, and communicate progress.
  • Embrace hands-on work and be ready to dive into both strategic and tactical HR tasks.
  • Lead and contribute to high-impact projects including sales incentive plan design, workforce optimization, and reimagining our hiring & onboarding process.
