  • Deep expertise across paid social (Meta, TikTok) and paid search (Google), with working knowledge of affiliate, CTV, and YouTube.
  • Commercial mindset, thinking in contribution margin and understanding the relationship between CAC, LTV, and media efficiency.
  • Sophisticated understanding of attribution, with experience using MTA or incrementality tools and building useful measurement frameworks.
  • Strong creative judgment, with the ability to brief and push creative teams to develop effective ad content.
  • Analytical horsepower, capable of building media mix models and interrogating data before acting.
  • Required experience in Beauty or DTC, with an understanding of the category, customer, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency with AI as a performance accelerator for faster testing and better spending.

Responsibilities

  • Set and own the full-funnel paid media strategy across paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), paid search (Google, Bing), affiliate, Google shopping, CTV, and YouTube.

  • Partner closely with the VP of Marketing to ensure paid media amplifies brand messaging.
  • Lead external agency and vendor relationships, setting expectations and holding them accountable.
