As Senior Manager, Strategic Pricing & Planning, you will play a critical leadership role in advancing global pricing governance to ensure disciplined, compliant, and value‑driven pricing decisions across the enterprise. This role has end‑to‑end ownership of pricing governance across Surgical and Vision Care, leading strategic pricing reviews for product launches, deals and portfolio initiatives in partnership with senior leadership. You will collaborate closely with Commercial, Finance, Regional Pricing and Franchise teams to strengthen price execution, enhance monitoring capabilities, and translate complex market dynamics into clear, actionable insights. Operating within established pricing frameworks, you will provide forward‑looking, data‑driven recommendations that balance value creation, risk management, and competitive positioning. Success in this role requires strong strategic judgment, a deep understanding of pricing methodologies, and the ability to influence decision‑making across a global, matrixed organization. This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic product launch pricing reviews, including stage-gate and launch governance inputs in partnership with Commercial.
  • Adapt pricing and commercial approaches for established products to optimize revenue across targeted customer and market segments.
  • Manage the end-to-end Price Governance process and associated SLAs, ensuring timely and consistent handling of pricing requests.
  • Monitor governance performance and implement continuous improvements to workflows, documentation, and decision quality.
  • Conduct strategic deal pricing reviews, analyzing financial impact and developing pricing recommendations aligned with global guidance.
  • Support enhanced price monitoring capabilities through dashboards, reporting, and performance insights.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to advance pricing initiatives that strengthen competitiveness and profitability.
  • Apply strategic thinking, industry expertise, and pricing technologies/optimization tools to enhance pricing effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and influence in driving pricing initiatives and representing Pricing Strategy across Market Access and related forums.
