About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Global Command Center is responsible for leading the preventative maintenance strategy and operational readiness of mission-critical data center infrastructure. This role oversees maintenance planning, technical teams, vendors, contractors, and large-scale maintenance projects to ensure reliability, compliance, and operational performance. The position partners across multiple stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, manage performance metrics, support budgeting activities, and ensure critical infrastructure operates safely and efficiently while meeting business objectives.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience managing technical facilities teams in mission-critical environments.
  • Experience developing and executing preventative maintenance programs for critical infrastructure systems.
  • Proven experience leading maintenance, repair, and infrastructure upgrade projects across multiple sites.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences.
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, and service providers in a critical operations environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a systematic and methodical approach to work.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and support reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7/365 operational environment with a strong focus on achieving results and meeting SLAs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance strategies to ensure critical data center infrastructure operates reliably and efficiently.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop technical facilities teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage large-scale, multi-site maintenance, repair, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
  • Monitor maintenance performance metrics, service levels, and operational KPIs, driving corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Oversee contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with safety, operational, and quality standards.
  • Support budget planning, cost control initiatives, forecasting, and maintenance reporting activities.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical and operational issues affecting critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
  • Communicate maintenance priorities, risks, and performance updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Support 24x7 operational environments by ensuring maintenance programs align with business continuity and uptime objectives.
