About The Position

This role provides managerial- and controller-level support across accounting and finance processes. The Sr Manager will partner with accounting leadership on enhancing efficiencies of close processes, financial analysis, and controls using technology and process redesign. A key aspect of this role is to act as a trusted advisor to finance leadership on AI governance. The position involves designing and implementing automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy across accounting workflows, and implementing and leveraging AI Agent tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar tools to optimize daily financial operations. Additionally, the role requires building and maintaining data integrations between accounting systems, sub-ledgers, reporting tools, and operational systems, and serving as a finance-side subject matter expert for accounting systems and related tools. The Sr Manager will partner with internal teams and vendors during systems implementations, upgrades, and integrations. This role also focuses on improving data integrity, reconciliation processes, and end-to-end data transparency, supporting and enhancing BI and reporting solutions used by Finance and leadership, driving data cleanup initiatives, and helping standardize data definitions and flows. The individual will help identify and apply practical AI and automation use cases within accounting and finance.

Requirements

Strong accounting background with experience at a manager, senior manager, or controller-adjacent level.
Prior experience in public accounting, systems implementation, complex accounting environments, or Data Analytics functions.
Experience with Broker Dealer or Wealth commissions systems and portfolio/ performance systems (e.g., Black Diamond).
Recent coursework in or demonstrated aptitude with Agentic AI tool development.
Ability to translate accounting requirements into technical or system solutions.
Comfortable operating at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, and Technology.
