About The Position

As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. About the Role: This is a Technical Engineering Manager role (50% Management / 50% Technical) responsible for owning and delivering Sensor Engineering products and features for CrowdStrike. This person will work closely with Product Management to define the delivery roadmap and will be technically responsible for the sensor (lightweight agent) across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. Features may cross-cut core OS subsystems such as file system, memory, process, and networking. This role leads a globally distributed engineering organization with Engineering Managers in India and Europe reporting directly into this position. The manager will engage with CrowdStrike's cross-product group leadership to stay aligned on developments across the broader Falcon Exposure Management product ecosystem and champion AI adoption to elevate team productivity and sensor capabilities. CrowdStrike Falcon is a two-component security product – a lightweight sensor installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, paired with a cloud component that aggregates telemetry, correlates threats across machines, and presents prioritized threat summaries to customer operations teams. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in our Sunnyvale, CA office.
