About The Position
Bristol Myers Squibb Company is hiring a(n) Sr. Manager, Engineering & Operations, Global Clinical Development IT (in Princeton, NJ). This role involves implementing and supporting strategic digital capabilities, providing technical guidance in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure systems in the specimen management landscape. It also includes enabling integration between various applications by designing concepts or changes of robust middleware solutions, supporting the implementation of DevOps practices, working on projects involving natural language processing and advanced analytics, handling and processing informed consent forms with metadata for efficient sample tracking and compliance, evaluating emerging technologies, and developing software applications following structured Software Development Lifecyle processes in a regulated environment. Telecommuting is permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-Bachelor’s, progressive, related work experience.
- Five (5) years of experience with Labmatrix Biospecimen management.
- Five (5) years of experience with Home-grown consent tracking tools.
- Five (5) years of experience with Clinical domain knowledge including Biospecimen management, consent codification, and general clinical development process.
- Five (5) years of experience utilizing Qiagram for biospecimen data analytics and visualization.
- Five (5) years of experience with Middleware technology expertise in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities
- Implement and support strategic digital capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure systems in the specimen management landscape.
- Enable integration between various applications by designing concepts or changes of robust middleware solutions.
- Support the implementation of DevOps practices to streamline software development and deployment processes.
- Work on projects involving natural language processing and advanced analytics.
- Handle and process informed consent forms with use of metadata to achieve efficient sample tracking and compliance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies for adoption.
- Develop software applications following structured Software Development Lifecyle processes in a regulated environment.
