About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Creative Production to lead production operations for a high-volume portfolio of omnichannel marketing content ranging from agile, fast-turn internal shoots to large-scale campaigns involving external agencies, production partners, talent, and complex multi-channel deliverables. This role serves as the central authority for production strategy, resource planning, financial oversight, business affairs, and operational excellence across all stages of the production process. The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing complex photo, video, broadcast, digital, social, and content productions from concept through final delivery. They possess a strong understanding of physical production, including pre-production planning, budgeting, crew and vendor management, talent negotiations, rights management, legal compliance, on-set leadership, and production logistics. This individual will be responsible for overseeing production budgets, agency and vendor relationships, contract negotiations, talent compensation, and production governance while ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is responsible for end-to-end execution and requires a leader who can confidently manage projects from initial scoping and feasibility assessment through production, post-production, distribution, and final asset delivery. This leader will partner closely with Creative, Marketing, Project Management, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and external production partners to optimize resources, mitigate risk, improve operational efficiency, and establish scalable production practices. They should have a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with talent, agents, managers and other external partners to serve as the primary point of contact between Home Depot stakeholders and external representatives which requires skills in consolidating feedback, aligning creative and business needs, navigating sensitive negotiations and overall ensuring a seamless experience from initial outreach through final delivery. They will also champion innovation through emerging production technologies, AI-enabled workflows, and evolving content creation methodologies while mentoring and developing internal talent to support Home Depot's long-term insourcing strategy. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, strong business acumen, deep production expertise, sound financial judgment, and a calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable negotiating talent and vendor agreements, managing high-profile productions on set, overseeing post-production workflows, and developing operational processes that increase output while maintaining rigorous quality, financial, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • 10+ years of experience leading complex creative, content, production and/or agency initiatives across multiple channels
  • Proven experience managing large-scale photo, video, digital, social, broadcast and omnichannel content productions from concept through delivery
  • Deep understanding of agency production operations, business affairs, production finance, talent negotiations, rights management, and legal compliance
  • Expertise negotiating statements of work (SOWs), production bids, contracts, vendor agreements, and external partner relationships
  • Demonstrated success managing production budgets, forecasting spend, controlling costs, and identifying operational efficiencies
  • Strong understanding of SAG-AFTRA requirements, talent usage rights, licensing, intellectual property, music rights, and production compliance standards
  • Experience building and implementing scalable production processes, governance models, playbooks, and operational frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of production logistics including call sheets, schedules, location management, permits, insurance, casting, and on-set operations
  • Experience managing post-production workflows including editorial, motion graphics, VFX, sound, color, voice-over, and asset delivery standards
  • Proven ability to develop reporting frameworks, track production KPIs, measure operational efficiency, and communicate results to senior leadership
  • Experience leveraging automation, AI tools, and emerging production technologies to improve productivity and creative output
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills with experience partnering closely with Creative, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and external vendors
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship capabilities with a track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Experience with creative and production technologies including Adobe Creative Suite, Frame.io, Figma, digital asset management platforms, and production tracking systems
  • Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Workfront, SmartSheet, Airtable, Monday.com, or similar enterprise platforms
  • Retail, agency, in-house studio, entertainment, or large-brand production experience strongly preferred
  • Expert knowledge of commercial talent compensation structures, usage rights, residuals, payroll administration, distribution/trafficking services, and production fee management
  • Ability to independently assess vendor pricing models, negotiate fair-market rates, provide financial oversight, and identify opportunities to internalize capabilities where appropriate to reduce costs and improve operational control.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

  • Manage and execute production schedules and full lifecycle of deliverables associated with digital campaigns
  • Overseeing the creative process, ensuring the work is on brief and on brand
  • Ensure the smooth running of the creative team's workflow keeping teams informed and up-to-date and that deadlines are met and issues escalated. Drive efficiency
  • Support and maintain relationships by communicating updates across teams and help prepare materials for updates; Identify and partner with cross-functional team on opportunities for improvements in creative process, timelines, approvals, etc
