About The Position

We are looking for an independent, self-directed individual that is motivated and energized by opportunities for process improvement and leading change. This position will report directly to the Vice President & Corporate Controller and will be a highly visible leadership role. This role will focus on four key objectives: US Payroll, Corporate SG&A, Corporate Accounting, and evolving disparate, small-company accounting operations into a cohesive, modern, technology-enabled enterprise. In addition to the core focus on consolidations and reporting, this position will support the Corporate Controller and CFO in areas such as policy and internal controls, budgeting, acquisition integration, financial modeling, pro-forma adjustments, and other activities as assigned. This position will supervise 2-3 direct reports and a total team of 5-10 professionals. As part of the corporate function, this position will also regularly coordinate and direct relevant work of controller groups at each of the Company’s operating units. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, related graduate degree preferred, CPA highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate level accounting operations.
  • Experience with Payroll and Accounts Payable required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a complex, global organization with multiple ERP’s and foreign currencies.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in a private equity backed growth environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the US payroll function and team.
  • Lead the analysis of corporate SG&A expenditures, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Work with C-Suite executives to facilitate understanding and improved insights / spend management.
  • Partner with the corporate accounting team to execute on centralized accounting processes such as the close and consolidation, allocations, lease accounting, OneStream system administration, technical accounting, policy deployment and global accounting leadership.
  • Support the Corporate Controller and CFO in areas such as policy and internal controls, budgeting, acquisition integration, financial modeling, pro-forma adjustments, and other activities as assigned.
  • Supervise, mentor, and lead direct reports and their teams.
  • Implement, maintain and strengthen relevant internal controls, SOP’s & documentation.
