About The Position

As the Senior Manager, Compensation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing compensation strategies across Dayforce. Partnering closely with senior HR leaders and functional groups, you will lead a high-performing team of compensation professionals who are integral to driving our compensation initiatives. You will take ownership of implementing and managing compensation programs, including incentive plans, with a focus on creating effective, competitive, and compliant compensation structures. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of experience in compensation program design, implementation, and administration, including incentive programs.
  • Two or more years of people leadership experience with a proven track record of developing talent and managing team performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in compensation roles within global organizations, with a strong understanding of international compensation practices.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with HRIS platforms (Dayforce preferred), market pricing tools (such as Radford or Mercer), and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Broad compensation knowledge, including executive compensation, base pay, and variable pay programs.
  • Proficiency in English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders, co-workers, managers and/or clients across the world.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Human Resources certification (PHR/SPHR) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the technology industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven success managing compensation strategies within the technology industry.
  • Deep understanding of compensation practices and challenges across global markets, including North America, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Experience supporting equity programs and partnering with Finance and Legal on total rewards governance.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of compensation programs, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, market competitiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Take ownership of the implementation and ongoing administration of global compensation plans, including incentive and equity programs.
  • Manage key compensation-related projects, including annual compensation cycles and ad hoc initiatives.
  • Partner with HR and senior leaders to provide strategic guidance on compensation-related matters and drive business impact.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of compensation data, recommend program improvements, and present findings to senior leadership through data-driven presentations.
  • Oversee job evaluation processes, market pricing analyses, and salary structure development to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Monitor external market trends and legal developments to ensure competitive and compliant compensation practices globally.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of compensation data across HR systems, including oversight of job classification and reporting.
  • Support the design and ongoing administration of short- and long-term incentive programs, including equity-based plans.
  • Provide compensation consulting support to other functional teams and lead projects related to broad-based compensation programs.
  • Lead or participate in additional compensation-related projects and initiatives, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
