Edmonton Global is seeking a commercially minded Sr. Business Development Manager, to drive the development and advancement of a robust pipeline of investment opportunities. This role is responsible for identifying, originating, and advancing opportunities by engaging companies that are evaluating growth, expansion, or market entry. The successful candidate will work directly with prospective investors to understand their strategic drivers, assess fit with the Edmonton region, and guide opportunities through the investment lifecycle, from initial engagement through to final investment decision (FID). This role requires a strong understanding of how companies make location and investment decisions, including cost structures, access to talent, logistics, and market opportunity. You will also play a critical role in translating these factors into a compelling regional value proposition, while supporting site selection processes and developing comparative jurisdiction analysis to position the Edmonton region competitively. Working closely with internal teams, municipal and regional partners, and industry stakeholders, you will be accountable for building and progressing a high-quality pipeline and contributing directly to investment outcomes in the Edmonton region.
