About The Position

The Sr. Manager of Business Development will lead the Amazon business development strategy with a strong emphasis on evolving business models and diversifying segments within the Amazon business. This role will closely collaborate with other regions and functions to understand the solutions that Dematic has to offer in these developing segments. This role will also work closely with execution in defining new business models to set Dematic up for success.

Requirements

Deep understanding of Amazon's operational network, business units, and evolving supply chain strategies.
Experience developing new commercial models, strategic partnerships, or innovative go-to-market approaches.
Ability to identify whitespace opportunities and expand customer engagement into new business segments and applications.
Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through commercialization.
Strong customer-facing leadership skills with the ability to build credibility and trust with senior customer stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Nice To Haves

MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience working in a global organization and collaborating across regions and cultures preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the North America business development strategy for Amazon, identifying and pursuing growth opportunities across emerging business segments and evolving customer needs.
Develop and execute strategies to diversify Dematic's engagement across Amazon business units, expanding beyond traditional fulfillment and logistics applications.
Partner with regional teams and global stakeholders to understand, align, and position Dematic's solutions within new and developing Amazon segments.
Collaborate closely with execution, engineering, product, and commercial teams to define and operationalize new business models that support long-term growth and profitability.
Identify market trends, customer priorities, and strategic initiatives that can be translated into scalable business opportunities for Dematic.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon stakeholders to understand evolving requirements, investment priorities, and future opportunities.
Evaluate and develop business cases for new offerings, partnership models, and commercial approaches that create value for both Amazon and Dematic.
Drive alignment across regions and functions to ensure a coordinated strategy, consistent customer engagement, and effective sharing of best practices.
Lead opportunity development activities from concept through qualification, ensuring strategic initiatives are positioned for successful execution.
Provide regular insights and recommendations to leadership on growth opportunities, market developments, competitive dynamics, and business model innovation.
