About The Position

This role is for maintenance services in the manufacturing area. The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree with 6 months of experience in industrial mechanics within the pharmaceutical or regulated industry. Bilingual (English & Spanish) skills are required, along with Project Management skills. The position involves non-standard shifts according to business needs, specifically 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM. Experience in industrial and utilities equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial equipment, equipment timing and synchronization, and familiarity with Maximo Software are essential. The role also values excellent communication skills, a willingness to ask for help, a love of the scientific method, teamwork, and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Execute advanced maintenance activities or operate and monitor plant support equipment, referring to complex issues or problems.
  • Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/systems the team is responsible for.
  • Perform various "Housekeeping " activities (e.g., keeping work areas clean, cleaning equipment, etc.).
  • Ensure that operational log paperwork, daily log files, and work order documentation are completed with accurate information.
  • Provide a detailed training program in order to develop one's knowledge in the maintenance and operations field and other areas of the plant.
  • Maintain an up-to-date cGMP training book.
  • Develop, revise, and review related SOPs or job plans/work plans for work-related areas.
  • Assist in the evaluation of the current maintenance procedures and recommend changes to optimize the maintenance program.
  • Perform intermediate troubleshooting of utility, process, and HVAC-related equipment/ systems.
  • Plan and schedule own work activities with operations staff to minimize impact to production activities.
