About The Position
KPS Global is seeking a Senior Maintenance Tech to join its Maintenance Department. The role is responsible for installing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production equipment, tools, facilities, and vehicles under limited supervision. The position helps ensure associates can work in a safe and productive environment and consistently meet customer requirements. The Senior Maintenance Tech follows the company’s Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems, fabricating production and facility systems, completing maintenance documentation, and maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements.
- Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic powered tools.
- Troubleshoot production equipment, powered industrial trucks, hoists, tools, and company vehicles to determine maintenance and service requirements.
- Repair and install complex electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic pumps, tools, and automated or numerically controlled plant equipment such as programmable logic controllers.
- Read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals to determine maintenance and repair needs.
- Fabricate complex production and facility systems using welding, milling, plumbing, and pipefitting.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities as required.
- Load, unload, lift, and move parts and equipment in preparation for inspection, maintenance, or service, using powered industrial trucks and overhead lifting equipment as required.
- Complete and maintain associated electronic processes and paperwork, including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping and receiving materials.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
