About The Position

The Senior Maintenance Scheduler (Daily/Outage) develops and controls discipline schedules, balancing workload with available resources while emphasizing consistency and workability to support on-line and outage indicators. The role maintains accurate schedules throughout development and execution, and updates and publishes discipline schedules as required. The scheduler develops detailed, accurate, usable schedules and reports to support planning, resource allocation, parts acquisition, execution, management, and feedback. The role also contributes to continuous product improvement through scheduling meetings, supports work-window and contingency-plan development, and assists the assigned department with traveler requests and tracking. Other assignments may include emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage support in positions outside the department.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or a current or previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license and 5 years of related experience, or a high school diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience.
Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements, as applicable.
Meet favorable medical examination and/or testing requirements in accordance with position duties.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, develop, and update discipline schedules to support planning, resource allocation, parts acquisition, and schedule execution.
Develop detailed, accurate, and usable schedules and reports as management tools for execution and feedback.
Attend scheduling meetings to support effective pre-planning, implementation, schedule critiques, and continuous product improvement.
Assist with developing work windows and contingency plans in coordination with Work Week Managers, Project Managers, and Cycle Schedulers.
Assist the assigned department with traveler requests and tracking.
Perform other duties as directed by management or company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
