About The Position

This role involves developing and implementing technical solutions for Healthcare Claims applications. The primary focus is on transforming business requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant mainframe systems. The position requires strong technical skills in mainframe technologies and a solid understanding of healthcare claims processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Mainframe technologies, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ for application development.
• Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and a strong understanding of related business workflows and operations.
• Solid understanding of code migration and release management processes, including package creation, code promotion across Development, Test, QA, and Production environments, along with post-deployment validation and backout procedures.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical and production support issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and offshore development teams.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team setting.
• 8+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical solutions for Healthcare Claims application by transforming business requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant mainframe systems.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe claims applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ following established coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, project managers, and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore team members, coordinate onsite-offshore activities, and act as a key contact for technical issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, conduct code reviews, and support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-implementation activities.
