About The Position

This role involves gaining familiarity with Lot Operations concepts, practices, and methodologies. The specialist will maintain constant communication with commercial accounts, customer support, quadrant and account coordinators, supervisors, and other auction personnel to ensure effective coordination of lot operations activities. They will answer telephones to provide support to Lot Operations employees and customers, respond to customer requests for assistance, and ensure timely resolution. The position also includes processing all Lot Operations’ paperwork, forwarding invoices and items to be posted to appropriate areas in a timely manner, and assisting with the coordination of sale day lineup and execution of sale day activities (e.g., driving, assisting customers in locating vehicles). A strong commitment to safety is paramount, requiring strict adherence to all safety and health protocols and setting an example through appropriate actions. The specialist will also actively participate in advancing all safety initiatives and assist with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience.
  • OR 7 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Effective communication and organization skills required.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.
  • Must work at a specified Cox location.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning, general auto body knowledge, etc. helpful.
  • Satisfactory computer skills and the ability to utilize a portable terminal, brick, etc. preferred.
