About The Position

The Senior Logistics Analyst must be able to read and interpret Federal Acquisition Regulations and Government contract requirements. This position will maintain property transactions from acquisition to disposal, including property control records. Responsible for assisting and conducting property assessments for internal and external customers in support of contractual and government regulations. Monitor property systems data, report and utilize metrics to manage health of property processes. Property processes across Raytheon to incorporate best practices and develop common processes, procedures, and measurement tools. Validate property ownership, identification, maintenance, utilization and property storage and disposition. Coordination of property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associated contractor, or company property is in accordance with applicable government regulations and/or corporate policy.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience, or and advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience with Property, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience driving a variety of forklifts.
  • Experience in a Material Consolidation, Manufacturing and Depot, Production or Performance Based Logistics (PBL) environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FAR Part 52 and Part 45, DFARS Part 252 and Part 245 with ability to read and interpret contract clauses as they pertain to government/customer property.
  • Experience with SAP Property System (SPS) in PRISM, Logistics SOS, and FIORI
  • Experience in a DOD environment.

  • Analyze data and originate reports for correspondence with customer and leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to interface with government representatives and internal departments.
  • Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Ability to effectively work in a cross functional teaming environment to drive consistent and reliable Property Management process excellence
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks to complete assignments with minimal supervision
  • Ability to use analytical and problem-solving skills and RCCA (Root Cause, Corrective Action) tool knowledge
  • Experience working with information systems and databases, data collection and strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Able to travel as required
  • Ability to acquire and maintain security clearance if required
  • Must complete CORE Apprentice Certification in first year of employment
  • Must complete Raytheon Property Management Tier 4 Certification in first year or employment
