About The Position

This role requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and a strong background in Naval Aviation Supply operations, with a specific emphasis on Disbursing management. The analyst must understand the flow of supply requisition documents for analysis. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office Products, particularly MS Excel. The position involves evaluating shipboard services operations, recommending improvements for quality of life, and providing training to Navy shipboard personnel on disbursing operations and procedures. The analyst will also conduct SMIs and SMAs of shipboard operations for aircraft carriers, prepare reports with recommendations for improvements, and analyze financial information for assigned programs to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. Reviewing funding documents for data and accounting accuracy, ensuring alignment with the Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS), and utilizing Navy ERP (SAP) for financial executions are key duties. Travel is required, and candidates must be US citizens.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Evaluate shipboard services operations and recommend improvements for quality of life.
• Provide training to Navy shipboard personnel on disbursing operations and procedures.
• Conduct SMIs and SMAs of shipboard operations for aircraft carriers.
• Prepare reports and submit results, with recommendations for improvements, for all inspections and assessments conducted.
• Analyze and monitor different financial information for assigned programs to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Review different funding documents to verify data and accounting accuracy, ensuring all information aligns in Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS).
• Utilize Navy ERP (SAP) to perform financial executions.
