About The Position

As part of Apple’s Legal team, the Sr. Legal Counsel will support and advise the Apple Find My team on a broad range of matters, including commercial transactions, regulatory issues, and product development. The role calls for experience in licensing, intellectual property law, and product advising. The successful candidate will provide practical legal guidance, solve complex issues creatively and efficiently, and collaborate with legal and business colleagues across teams and geographies in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant legal experience advising on technology product-related issues and negotiating and drafting technology transactions.
• JD or equivalent and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience in licensing, intellectual property law, and product advising.
• Excellent communication, analytical, legal research, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams and geographies.
• Sound judgment, excellent time-management and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to look beyond the immediate question to identify broader issues and future implications.
• Business acumen and creative problem-solving ability.
• Curiosity, self-direction, and comfort embracing technology and working in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with international legal and regulatory compliance, privacy, regulatory, and open data and open source issues.

Responsibilities
