About The Position

The Sr. Legal Counsel will join a team supporting and advising Apple’s Find My team on a wide variety of matters, including commercial transactions, regulatory issues, and product development. The role calls for experience in licensing, intellectual property law, and product advising. The successful candidate will apply legal expertise to complex issues, reconcile conflicting interests creatively and efficiently, and collaborate with legal and business colleagues across functions.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant legal experience advising on technology product-related issues and negotiating and drafting technology transactions.
• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• Strong communication, analytical, legal research, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and strong interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving and business acumen to resolve complex issues efficiently and provide practical product advice.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams and geographies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with international legal and regulatory compliance, privacy, regulatory matters, and open data and open-source issues.
• Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, excellent time-management and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with healthy debate and ability to identify broader issues and future implications beyond the immediate question.
• Self-starter who is curious, embraces technology, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
