Position: SR Lead – Sheet Metal / Sub-Component Assembly, Sub-Assembly, & Fiberglass Reports To: Director of Operations Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Shift: 1st (Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) Pay Range: $29 - $35 / Hour BASIC WORKER FUNCTION: Lead and supervise the daily work of the Sheet Metal, Sub-Component, Sub-Assembly, and Fiberglass teams. Make sure the department runs smoothly, meets production goals, maintains quality, and follows safety rules. Support and train employees, help solve problems, and work with other Senior Leads to reach company objectives. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TASKS: Lead and support team members each day. Plan work so the department meets deadlines. Train employees on proper work procedures and equipment use. Help solve problems with machines, equipment, or quality. Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet standards. Work with other Senior Leads to reach company goals. Keep records and follow all safety rules. Assist with hiring or communicating with vendors as needed.
Requirements
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Harris Data system helpful.
- Good mechanical and math skills.
- Able to work independently and with a team.
- Can manage multiple tasks at once.
- Able to work overtime if needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in sheet metal, sub-component assembly, or fiberglass preferred.
