We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer with IES experience to support Java coding and development for web applications, complex SQL development, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of development experience with Java 6.0 and J2EE application components, including JSP, Custom Tag Libraries, JavaScript, Session EJBs, JDBC, etc.
  • Experience working with Java Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), preferably RAD 7.5 or above
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Experience with design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and DAO
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture
  • Experience developing Batch Jobs and Web Services
  • Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0
  • Strong experience with relational databases
  • Ability to write complex SQL statements and queries
  • Experience with DB2 and Oracle
  • Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis skills
  • Good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Perform hands-on Java coding and application development.
  • Develop and maintain application components using JSP, EJBs, JDBC, JavaScript, and Custom Tag Libraries.
  • Design and develop batch jobs and web services.
  • Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries using DB2 and Oracle.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and perform detailed root cause analysis.
  • Apply Object-Oriented Design principles and established design patterns.
  • Work within MVC-based application architectures.
  • Support application testing, debugging, deployment, and production issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.
