We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer with IES experience to support Java coding and development for web applications, complex SQL development, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

3+ years of development experience with Java 6.0 and J2EE application components, including JSP, Custom Tag Libraries, JavaScript, Session EJBs, JDBC, etc.
Experience working with Java Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), preferably RAD 7.5 or above
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
Experience with design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and DAO
Strong understanding of MVC architecture
Experience developing Batch Jobs and Web Services
Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0
Strong experience with relational databases
Ability to write complex SQL statements and queries
Experience with DB2 and Oracle
Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis skills
Good communication skills

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
Perform hands-on Java coding and application development.
Develop and maintain application components using JSP, EJBs, JDBC, JavaScript, and Custom Tag Libraries.
Design and develop batch jobs and web services.
Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries using DB2 and Oracle.
Troubleshoot application issues and perform detailed root cause analysis.
Apply Object-Oriented Design principles and established design patterns.
Work within MVC-based application architectures.
Support application testing, debugging, deployment, and production issue resolution.
Collaborate with technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.
