Sr. Java Back-End Engineer
About The Position
We are urgently looking for a Java Back-End Engineer for a direct client requirement. This role involves developing and maintaining highly available web services, with a focus on core Java development and API creation. The ideal candidate will have full lifecycle experience, including testing and automation, and proficiency with the Spring Framework. Experience with databases like Oracle, NoSQL, and caching solutions is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), microservices on Kubernetes (especially Azure Kubernetes Service), and tools like Kafka, Solr, and Drools is highly preferred. Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry is a plus.

- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Primarily a Java role

- Experience writing and maintaining APIs
