About The Position

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (SME Level) to lead and support enterprise-wide initiatives, including Microsoft 365 (M365) and Enterprise AI programs. This role is responsible for providing expert-level project management leadership across cross-functional teams, ensuring successful delivery in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing complex IT programs, strong knowledge of governance and security processes, and the ability to lead Agile/Scrum-based projects from planning through deployment and transition to operations.

Requirements

  • Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
  • Must be willing and able to work fully on-site
  • Proven experience as a Senior/SME-level IT Project Manager leading complex, enterprise-scale programs
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, best practices, and tools
  • Experience developing and managing project schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership experience guiding cross-functional teams across technical and operational domains
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Experience navigating accreditation processes (ICD-503) and achieving Authority to Operate (ATO)
  • Experience managing governance processes and integrating security requirements into IT projects
  • Experience developing and delivering executive-level briefings and documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using project management tools such as MS Project for resource-loaded scheduling
  • Familiarity with enterprise collaboration tools such as Confluence and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT architecture, service-oriented architectures, and security frameworks
  • Understanding of Intelligence Community (IC) systems, policies, and environments
  • Experience supporting federal or government programs
  • Agile and/or Scrum certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale enterprise IT programs, including M365 and AI initiatives
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including technical, operational, and stakeholder groups
  • Navigate governance processes, including A&A (Assessment & Authorization), and ensure compliance with security requirements
  • Coordinate with security stakeholders (e.g., CMAP, KMD) to provide documentation and evidence for security controls
  • Track and manage POA&M items and ensure timely resolution within project plans
  • Support transition of projects into Operations & Maintenance (O&M) environments
  • Develop and execute communication and training plans to support program adoption
  • Oversee product pilots, integration efforts, and validation activities to ensure readiness for enterprise deployment
  • Prepare and deliver briefings, reports, and presentations to leadership and stakeholders
  • Mentor junior team members and support collaboration across project teams
