Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related.
  • Five (5) years in any occupation with experience developing and supporting IBM OMS Application.
  • Experience with implementation of IBM Sterling Order Management Suite; Front end technology such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, an object-oriented programming language, Relational or NoSQL database technology, cloud computing techniques, CI/CD tools, modern software design patterns; Providing advice for creating and executing unit, functional, destructive and performance tests; Contemporary debugging tools, methods, and root cause analysis; Version control system; and Security frameworks for user and API/services authorization and authentication.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, implement, and sustain software solutions, ensuring the intended value.

  • Provide input to the construction of diverse test suites (functional, non-functional and destructive) to facilitate successful and swift code deployment to production.

  • Innovate to enhance organizational success.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to craft user stories that are valuable, developer-ready, easily comprehensible, and testable.
  • Communicate effectively through various modes, ensuring a clear understanding tailored to different audiences' unique needs.
  • Adjust approach dynamically to address the changing requirements of varied situations.
  • Cultivate open and comfortable relationships with a variety of people from cross-functional groups.
  • Nurture the development of junior engineers by offering guidance on contemporary software development frameworks and leading discussions on technical aspects.
  • Proactively seek avenues for personal growth and acquires pertinent skills through both formal and informal developmental pathways.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
  • Assist in Outage Calls and Root Cause Analysis for the problems.
  • Holiday readiness planning and Holiday readiness testing guidance.
  • Management of Quarterly upgrades and feature pack update of IBM OMS.
  • Define and promote processes, policies, standards, and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
