About The Position

This position with Amentum is to support the United States Central Command J2 Directorate through the planning of Intelligence. Your plans and assessment will be vital to the decision making of senior leaders to include the CENTCOM Commander. You will witness the impact of your analysis indirectly on the battlefield and through strategic decisions made by our leaders throughout the Intelligence Community.

Requirements

  • Masters degree with 10 years intelligence and/or service planning experience at echelons of command above Battalion/Squadron or credentialed SME or recognized specialist in relevant field OR Bachelor degree with 12 years intelligence and/or service planning experience at echelons of command above Battalion/Squadron or credentialed SME or recognized specialist in relevant field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility and organization
  • Joint/Service Intermediate Level School [JPME-I, CGSC, SAMS / SAAS / SAWS / MAWS / JAWS], and JIP Level I / Tier I certification preferred or proof of working understanding of multiple intelligence disciplines and an awareness of CSA capabilities.
  • TS/SCI with Poly
  • Bachelors
  • 10 years intelligence and/or service planning experience at echelons of command above Battalion/Squadron or credentialed SME or recognized specialist in relevant field
  • Successful completion of the drug screening process. This may include pre-hire screening for marijuana, as well as other federally controlled substances due to Amentum’s role as a federal contractor and trusted partner to the US Government.

  • Joint/Service Intermediate Level School [JPME-I, CGSC, SAMS / SAAS / SAWS / MAWS / JAWS], and JIP Level I / Tier I certification preferred or proof of working understanding of multiple intelligence disciplines and an awareness of CSA capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Intelligence Plans Division leadership and staff with the planning, organization, development, coordination, and execution of intelligence planning activities in order to drive objectives and evaluations of Intelligence Campaign Plans (ICP) efforts, Interagency (IA) information sharing efforts, and Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) and Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises in support of division leadership and intelligence requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate ICP production and implementation for the J2 Directorate, other directorates, components, Intelligence Community (IC), and coalition and partner nation representatives.
  • Identify strategic and operational requirements for CCMD military operations, including collection capabilities, structure, manpower, communication, and logistics to meet operations requirements and identify shortfalls/gaps and develop courses of action and mitigation strategies.
  • Assess existing/future capabilities to meet operations requirements for CCMD military operations.

  • Conduct studies of intelligence planning programs that are broad in scope with frequently undefined limits, to evaluate effectiveness of current programs, feasibility of future programs and development of planning efforts as well as planning and advising on the implementation of new ideas.
