About The Position

As a Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation Enablement, you will play a key role in supporting the execution, enablement, and continuous improvement of Baxter’s Incentive Compensation (IC) programs and systems. You will help ensure accurate and timely incentive compensation delivery while driving operational excellence, user adoption, and process improvements. In this role, you will combine analytical expertise, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration to support compensation programs that enable and motivate our commercial teams. You will be part of the Global Commercial Excellence organization, reporting to the Manager, Incentive Compensation Enablement. Working closely with Sales Operations, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Data & Analytics teams, you will support critical incentive compensation processes and systems across the organization. You will serve as a trusted partner to both internal stakeholders and field sales users, helping ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement of IC operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in Incentive Compensation, Sales Operations, Finance, Commercial Operations, or similar business functions.
  • Strong experience working with operational data, including validation, reconciliation, issue identification, and quality assurance processes.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Sales Performance Management (SPM), CRM, or other business platforms, with preferred experience in Varicent, Xactly, SPIFF, Anaplan, or similar solutions.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to support users and drive alignment across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics tools, as well as supporting system implementations and enhancements.
  • Experience creating training materials, SOPs, and process documentation, ideally within global or highly cross-functional business environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operation of incentive compensation platforms and execute monthly/quarterly IC cycles, including data loads, validation activities, calculation reviews, and readiness processes to ensure accurate and timely payouts.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with internal and external technology partners to maintain reliable IC operations.
  • Perform validation, reconciliation, and reasonability checks on credits, calculations, and payouts while partnering with Data & Analytics to resolve data issues and maintain execution quality.
  • Maintain audit-ready controls, documentation, assumptions, and process records to support governance and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and process documentation; support onboarding and ongoing user training while serving as a key point of contact for inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Support IC-related projects, system upgrades, enhancements, and transformation initiatives through requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation, system functionality, operational processes, and overall user experience.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and Data & Analytics to resolve operational issues, communicate risks and dependencies, and support informed decision-making.
