About The Position

The Sr. Incentive Compensation Analyst is part of the regional Accounting Operations team and supports the administration of incentive compensation programs across North America . This role partners closely with Finance, HR, and Sales leadership to ensure accurate commission processing, strong controls, and meaningful performance insights. This position plays a critical role in today’s incentive compensation operations while also supporting the team’s evolution toward more analytical, data‑driven decision support as automation and tools continue to mature. The role is not positioned as a Financial Analyst; however, strong analytical capability is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in incentive compensation, accounting operations, or analytical roles
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (analytics, modeling, complex formulas; macro experience strongly valued)
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Finance, HR, and business stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Payroll or commission processing background
  • User‑level familiarity with Power BI (navigation and data extraction; dashboard development not required)
  • Experience supporting system or process enhancements

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support monthly incentive and commission payout processes , including calculations, adjustments, approvals, and validations
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of incentive plans within the incentive management tool
  • Partner with Finance, Compensation & Benefits, and business leaders to align payout outcomes with approved performance results
  • Perform accounting activities including month‑end and quarter‑end accruals , journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit support
  • Respond to inquiries related to commission calculations, disputes, and reporting
  • Maintain and enhance operational and analytical reporting, including standard and ad‑hoc reports
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to help business leaders understand outcomes and drive the right behaviors
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and automation
  • Support system testing and enhancements related to incentive tools
  • Process SPIFF incentive compensation as required
  • Guide and support the day‑to‑day work of junior analyst(s)
  • Develop presentations and basic data visualizations for assigned functional areas
