About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Sr Imagery Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The role provides imagery and geospatial analysis services in machine learning disciplines, supporting the creation, review, and verification of training data for artificial intelligence platforms. The analyst applies photointerpretation skills to imagery, multi-INT, and other source data to identify, categorize, and annotate target objects. The role also calls for strong order of battle expertise and the ability to train and share knowledge with junior team members. Candidates should be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a dynamic and demanding environment. The position requires at least eight years of national-level Intelligence Community and/or military operational-level imagery or geospatial analysis experience, including GEOINT exploitation and reporting. It also requires experience with machine learning training data and Structured Observation Management, intelligence collection, targeting, precision point mensuration, and GIS or imagery exploitation software. The role is based in Falls Church, Virginia. The stated full-time salary range is $97,008–$164,914; individual pay depends on factors including qualifications and market considerations.

Requirements

At least 8 years of imagery or geospatial analysis experience in the Intelligence Community at the national level and/or at the military operational level, including GEOINT exploitation and reporting.
Order of battle experience and extensive knowledge of air, sea, and ground equipment and infrastructure.
Proficiency with GIS or imagery viewing and exploitation software such as SOCET GXP, ArcGIS, QGIS, RemoteView, ERDAS IMAGINE, ENVI, or Google Earth.
Attendance at a certified imagery schoolhouse or the Geospatial Intelligence Training Program.
Experience creating, annotating, and reviewing machine learning training data, as well as Structured Observation Management.
Knowledge of the intelligence collection process.
Experience in targeting and precision point mensuration.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of common office software, including Adobe and MS Office 365, for slide presentations, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Ability to work in a very dynamic and demanding work environment.
Ability to attain and maintain GPC-F and IA-II certifications.
Experience training and mentoring junior and upcoming team members.

Nice To Haves

Experience using, creating, updating, and maintaining geodatabases.
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, or a related major.
