About The Position

Tra Mar Mechanical, a Crete United Company, is a Mechanical Solutions service provider in the Northern Colorado Market. Headquartered in Greeley, we provide service, maintenance, retro fit, tenant finish, new construction, and sustainable energy products to small and large building owners, managers, and agents, including commercial, healthcare, institutional, and municipal clients. The Sr. Service Technician is responsible for independently completing HVAC preventative maintenance and repairs. Tasked to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install commercial HVAC and related equipment, you will work from customer premises in support of project-based contractual requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner. Tra Mar Mechanical is seeking to find qualified technicians to help assist in installation, troubleshooting, repairs, solutions, and management of your projects and maintenance contracts.

Requirements

5-10 years experience in commercial HVAC service.
Experience with commercial, multi-family and residential service calls and projects.
Must have a basic understanding of Rooftop Units, Split Systems, and Ductless Systems, BAS Controls, Troubleshooting Cooling Towers, and Chillers.
Must be able to perform Preventative Maintenance, Diagnosis and Repair of these systems.
Ability to create relationships with clients and provide them remarkable service.
Communicating with customers and managers regarding service findings is essential.

Responsibilities

Consistently checks system operations and safety and limit controls before leaving job locations
Ensures customers’ questions/concerns have been addressed before leaving the work site
Uses proper tools and instruments while troubleshooting
Incorporates solution techniques to assist other service representatives and helps resolve issues and customer problems
Schedules arrival and departure with customers
Communicates tactfully to offer suggestions if system problems are caused by the customer
Demonstrates ability to determine priorities based on a call schedule, responding to inadvertent interruptions, carrying proper tools and materials, and scheduling vehicle maintenance
Promptly and accurately completes all required paperwork
Keeps supervisor and manager informed of new developments, changes, or customer complaints
