About The Position

As the Senior HR Manager for North America Commercial, you will serve as a strategic growth partner to Sales, Marketing, and Performance Partnership leadership, translating commercial priorities into a scalable people agenda. You will shape organizational capability and culture through disciplined change leadership, intentional talent and succession planning, and leader coaching that raises performance across a distributed team. Anchored in DBS and a continuous-improvement mindset, you will use data, insights, and strong judgment to strengthen engagement, accelerate development, and ensure the right talent is in the right roles to deliver the region’s growth ambitions. You will partner with the Sr. HR Director to represent the broader North America Commercial organization (NACO) beyond assigned client group identifying synergies and opportunities across Commercial and Service to improve consistency, capability, and execution. Serve as a proxy for the Sr. HR Director, partnering with senior Commercial leaders on highly strategic business and people initiatives and ensuring momentum when leadership is not available. This position is a remote role and will travel 30%-40% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (HR related degree and or credentials, Masters / MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with at least 5 years of demonstrated senior business partner responsibilities across multiple functional disciplines (Ops, R&D, Quality/Regulatory, Commercial)
  • Experience working in a matrixed HR environment with shared services, COEs, and HR Business Partners.
  • Results-driven leader with continuous-improvement mindset; strong project management, mentoring/influencing skills, and ability to navigate complex organization & people challenges.

  • Commercially minded HR partner with technical depth across employee relations, change management, staffing, development/training, facilitation, and compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Commercial Area VPs/GMs and HR leaders to strengthen org effectiveness and cross-functional alignment, standardize people insights, and drive disciplined, data-informed execution tied to customer experience and scalable org design.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to commercial leaders on critical business and HR priorities, leading change management efforts through readiness assessments, stakeholder alignment, and clear communication that drives adoption.
  • Lead end-to-end talent and leadership development, including hiring, onboarding, performance and potential assessment, succession planning, and targeted development plans that accelerate growth.
  • Drive strong performance management practices by coaching leaders on goal setting, fair evaluations, feedback delivery, and performance improvement planning, while supporting complex organizational and associate decisions.
  • Champion DBS and continuous improvement by leveraging people data to generate insights, identify root causes, and implement measurable improvements, while managing associate relations with objective investigations, coaching, and problem-solving.
