Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish effective relationships with diverse teams in the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.

  • PHR or SPHR a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of human resources including the recruitment process including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify current staffing needs and work with internal recruiters to create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Assist managing employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts in a professional and confidential manner, and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to both employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist with performance management processes including evaluations, feedback sessions, and development plans for employees.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and coordinate employee training programs.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and metrics related to HR activities on a needed basis.
