Apex Group is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for the North Americas Region. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, decision-making, management, and coaching abilities, along with significant experience in a similar capacity. The successful candidate will work independently while contributing to a larger global HR team.

Requirements

  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Significant experience gained in a similar role and industry.
  • Solid knowledge of employee relations processes and relevant employment legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders on complex/ strategic HR topics, including restructuring, organizational design, employee relations cases, and legal topics.
  • Understand and apply employment laws and requirements by state and country.
  • Execute employee relations cases, separation agreements, terminations, and redundancies in compliance with state-wise laws.
  • Collaborate with the regional Head of HR to provide backup, ensure consistency, and share best practices.
  • Work with local and global HR teams to provide regional input for global projects.
  • Create and maintain action plans for HR policy and procedure changes, ensuring alignment with local legislation, regulations, and Group standards.
  • Coordinate the regional delivery of the people strategy and key employee lifecycle activities, such as the compensation review process.
  • Provide day-to-day support to managers and senior stakeholders on People and Culture topics.
  • Advise and consult on employee and hiring strategies in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, driving succession and talent planning.
  • Lead and assist in change management activities.
  • Manage M&A related activities to ensure smooth integration aligned with business strategy.
  • Manage, coach, and develop extended team members as required.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects based on business requirements.
