Airbus•Grand Prairie, TX
•$34 - $57•Remote

About The Position

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is hiring a Senior Remote Helicopter Maintenance Support Technician for government programs. The technician performs advanced troubleshooting, inspections, maintenance, and return-to-service certifications on BK117 C2/D3 and EC135 aircraft, working independently at customer sites across the United States. The assigned customer location may change based on contract needs. The typical arrangement is four weeks at a customer site followed by two weeks working from home, although the schedule may vary with maintenance needs. Shifts are generally four 10-hour days, except in California, where they are five 8-hour days. The role requires 65% domestic and international travel. The position includes hands-on aircraft maintenance and inspection, technical support for customers, leadership of technicians, and maintenance documentation and regulatory compliance. It reports to customer locations or is performed remotely, rather than at an Airbus location. The position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Common Access Card and to meet the stated physical, travel, and aircraft-operation demands. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under the ITAR definition. The stated pay range is $34 to $57 per hour, with actual pay dependent on geographic differential, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Airbus describes the employment type as US direct hire.
